- Reagent-grade ammonium chloride for use during fish-less cycling.
- 50 mg/L of total ammonia-nitrogen (TAN) concentration.
- Pre diluted ammonium chloride makes fish-less cycling easy and establishes aquarium biological filtration.
- Concentrated ammonium chloride solution treats up to 1,200 gallons. The pre-measured formula is easy to use; 4 drops per-gallon equals 2 ppm ammonia-nitrogen.
- Does not contain scents or other dangerous additives.
Dr. Tim’s Aquatics Ammonium Chloride Solution for Cycling Aquariums is a reagent-grade ammonium chloride for use during fish-less cycling. With a concentration of 50 mg/L of total ammonia-nitrogen (TAN), a single drop is all you need for every gallon of aquarium water.

Add 4 drops of solution per gallon of aquarium water to achieve an ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N) concentration of 2 mg/L-N (2 ppm). Do not exceed 5 mg/L-NH3-N or NO2-N in the aquarium during cycling. Use an ammonia test kit to monitor your progress. 1 drop equals 0.05 ml so this bottle will treat 300 gallons.
