Use to reduce nitrate and phosphate. Use 3 ml of NP-Active Pearls per 20 gallons of water. Start with 1/3 of the needed Pearls and add additional Pearls over time. NP-Active Pearls should be places in a reactor and slowly tumbled. Pearls may stick together after some use. Safe to agitate to break-up the clumps. Volume of Pearls will be reduced over time – replenish on a regular basis do not wait until all the Pearls have disappeared. If the flow stop and Pearls turn black or smell rinse well before continuning use.
